  • What are the dates and times for the camp?
    The camp runs from June 30 to August 22, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Who is eligible to attend the camp?
    DAY CAMP: Ages 4-11 SPORTS CAMP: Ages 9-13
  • How are the age groups divided at the camp?
    The age groups at the swim club day camp: 4-11; The age groups at NMHS Sports Camp: 9-13
  • What sports and activities are offered at the day camp?
    The day camp at the NM Swim Club offers a wide range of fun games and sports in addition to the swimming. Basketball, soccer, wiffleball, pickleball, kickball, and more!
  • How many swimming sessions are there per day?
    Campers enjoy two swimming sessions each day as part of their daily activities.
  • What does a typical day at the camp look like?
    Each day includes multiple sports rotations, two swimming sessions, snack breaks, and lunch. Activities are scheduled every 45 minutes.
  • Is lunch provided at the camp?
    Lunch is not provided. Campers should bring their own packed lunch each day. No peanut products. We do offer Pizza Fridays every week available for purchase when you register!
  • Is there before or aftercare available?
    Yes, we offer beforecare from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM and aftercare from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM for an additional fee.
  • What safety measures are in place at the camp?
    The camp follows safety protocols, with lifeguards on duty for swimming sessions, trained coaches, and a designated first-aid station.
  • Can my child sign up for only a few weeks, or do they need to attend the entire summer?
    Yes, you can sign up for specific weeks that suit your schedule. Registration is flexible to accommodate families.
  • What is the cost of attending the camp?
    The weekly cost starts at $379 and gradually decreases with the more weeks you select! Half day price $225
  • Are there any discounts available?
    YES! The more full weeks you sign up for the bigger the discount. Sign up for full 9 weeks and you'll pay the same weekly rate as the last 5 years.
  • How many campers are in each group?
    We aim to maintain a ratio of 1 counselor per 8 campers to ensure personalized attention and safety.
  • What should my child bring to camp?
    Campers should bring a packed lunch, snacks, a water bottle, a swimsuit, a towel, sunscreen, and comfortable sportswear.
  • What happens if there’s inclement weather?
    In the event of rain or storms, the camp moves activities indoors at NM Elks Lodge.
  • How do you handle medical needs or emergencies?
    We have a first-aid certified staff member on-site and work closely with the local medical team for emergencies. Please notify us of any medical needs in advance.
  • What is your refund policy?
    Refunds are available up to one week before the registered week begins. A processing fee applies for cancellations.
  • Who are the camp coaches and staff?
    Our coaches include experienced high school coaches and teachers, alongside trained counselors who are New Milford High School students and alumni.
  • How do I register my child for camp?
    Registration is available online via our camp website on Jan 29, 2025. You can select specific weeks and make payments through a secure portal.
  • Can my child change groups or activities once they’re assigned?
    Changes can be accommodated within reason, based on availability and age group guidelines. Please discuss this with our staff.
